FarmerPack and Goodspeed - case study. Polish, seasonal, delivered to your door - before you wake up.
FarmerPack and Goodspeed - case study. Polish, seasonal, delivered to your door - before you wake up.

How a local online store with fresh fruit and vegetables became a nationwide player thanks to Goodspeed's refrigerated transport.
About FarmerPack
FarmerPack is an online store in the e-grocery sector, selling ready-made boxes of seasonal fruit and vegetables directly from Polish farmers. These products are fresh and wholesome, but due to their appearance they do not meet supermarket chains' standards and do not make it onto shop shelves.
FarmerPack reduces food waste and gives consumers access to ordering fresh, seasonal products directly from the producer. Each box is created based on seasonality and current availability at the farmers, so its contents naturally change from week to week. It combines the zero waste idea, the convenience of online shopping and modern fresh food logistics delivered directly to customers' doorsteps across Poland.
Challenges: great product, local reach
Until the end of 2025, FarmerPack operated locally – own fleet, deliveries only in Warsaw. Three key issues were blocking growth:
✓ Local reach, only in Warsaw. A product with nationwide potential was unavailable outside the capital. There was no possibility of development without a logistics partner.
✓ Geographically restricted marketing. Social media campaigns had to be targeted exclusively at Warsaw, even though they were visible to other regions. Nationwide communication made no sense if the company could not reach the people it was talking to.
✓ Fresh food requires cold storage, controlled temperature. A standard courier does not guarantee controlled temperature. Sorting centres and parcel lockers are not refrigerated. A strawberry in a car without a cold room will not reach the customer in the condition they paid for. This poses a risk of losing the quality and nutritional value of the transported food.
At FarmerPack, we faced a real barrier to growth, which was nationwide delivery in appropriate cold storage conditions. We have a good product that meets the needs and changing habits of consumers. We know how to communicate with customers. To grow along with the expanding e-grocery market in Poland, we lacked nationwide logistics. Goodspeed deliveries have allowed us to really scale our business and focus solely on its growth across the entire country.

Solution: transport outsourcing - nationwide overnight doorstep deliveries in temperature-controlled conditions.
Since January 2026, FarmerPack has been delivering exclusively with Goodspeed. Packages leave the cold storage hub and arrive at customers' doorsteps at night before they wake up. Deliveries are made in controlled temperatures, ensuring that the quality of fresh products is maintained. Delivery of orders is possible to over 6,000 cities and towns across Poland.
For the consumer, this is a concrete change in daily life. They wake up – a box of Polish fruit and vegetables is already standing at the door. Fresh, at the right temperature, without waiting for the courier, without planning a delivery window, without leaving home. The subscription model only makes sense when logistics are predictable and reliable.
Goodspeed handles the delivery of various boxes without imposing standardisation. Seasonal modifications of food, different weights, irregular proportions – each package is treated individually and reaches the customer in the same condition as it left FarmerPack.
FarmerPack is an example of a company that has a very good product and service, and faced a specific problem: how to deliver fresh product to customers across Poland without losing quality and without building its own refrigerated fleet. Our model – overnight delivery at controlled temperature directly to the door – allows for sales scaling. FarmerPack is a mission-driven business that supports local farmers and saves food. We are pleased to support such players

E-grocery - one of the fastest growing sectors
The e-grocery market in Poland is growing at a rate of several percent per year. According to the Strategy& report, its value will increase from PLN 9 billion in 2024 to PLN 14 billion in 2028, which means an average annual growth (CAGR) of over ten percent. For small players in the fresh food sector purchased online, e-grocery, nationwide refrigerated transport with overnight doorstep deliveries is becoming a key growth factor.
The FarmerPack model responds to one of the biggest problems of Polish agriculture: wholesome products that deviate from visual norms do not make it to shops. Thanks to refrigerated doorstep delivery, FarmerPack can now reach customers regardless of the weather and location, and each delivered box means food saved from wasting!
