Goodspeed increases warehouse capacity by 70%

Goodspeed, a logistics and technology group and a leader in temperature-controlled logistics for the diet catering sector, has completed the expansion of its central warehouse in Ołtarzew (near Warsaw), increasing its total operational area by 70%. The total area of the facility has grown to 3,900 m². The investment is a response to the dynamic growth in demand for specialised logistics services both in Poland and on foreign markets – in particular in the Czech Republic.
The increase in warehouse space from 2,300 m² to 3,900 m² strengthens the operational capabilities of Goodspeed's central warehouse and cold hub. The investment makes it possible to serve an even greater number of locations, plan routes more efficiently and support meal box producers in expanding both in Poland and abroad.
Goodspeed currently delivers to more than 6,000 locations in Poland, covering all voivodeships, and is consistently developing its business on foreign markets, especially in the Czech Republic. It is continually expanding its delivery map; over the last 12 months, Goodspeed has expanded its delivery area by nearly 1,000 new cities and towns, covering more than 60% of Poland's population. Smaller cities and towns are appearing on the delivery map more and more often, further driving demand for meal box diets.
Expanding infrastructure is a natural step resulting from our growing scale. We are entering new markets, supporting the expansion of catering producers in Poland and abroad. We serve more than 230 meal box catering producers, and we deliver tens of thousands of parcels every day. Growing interest in our model - also in Central and Eastern European markets such as the Czech Republic - requires us to have the infrastructure and technology that allow us to continue scaling the business - comments Sylwester Rypina, CEO of Goodspeed.
The expansion of the central warehouse is one element of the Goodspeed group's long-term expansion strategy, which assumes the development of logistics services for the diet catering sector and players in the Nutrition & Consumer Health space on CEE markets.
The group specialises in controlled-temperature “last-mile” deliveries and provides technology solutions supporting the entire process of serving diet catering producers – from logistics, through CRM systems and customer management, to cost-optimisation tools.
