Goodspeed, a logistics and technology group and a leader in refrigerated logistics for the diet catering industry, has completed the acquisition of Cateromarket, a sales platform and price comparison site for diet box meal plans. The transaction aims to strengthen the position of the Foodango diet sales platform from the Goodspeed group and develop the e-commerce segment. The acquisition is an important step in expanding Goodspeed’s ecosystem for the diet catering industry.

Cateromarket is one of the longest-running diet box meal plan sales platforms in Poland, bringing together offers from several dozen catering companies and enabling users to compare meal plans, prices and delivery coverage nationwide. For years, the service has attracted customers in the subscription meal plan segment, generating  sales for catering producers operating in a direct-to-consumer model.

The acquisition of the Cateromarket platform is intended to increase the scale of Foodango’s marketplace from the Goodspeed Group. The rapidly growing Foodango stands out for its multi-diet function, enabling consumers to order daily and flexibly test offers from different diet catering companies within a single order and basket.

The Polish meal box market, valued at around PLN 4 billion annually, has grown dynamically in recent years. It is now entering a stage in which rising costs, higher marketing spending and the need to invest in technology favour companies with greater scale and a stable financial base.
